They are a dynamic and growing company that can offer their employees flexibility and diversity of projects to further their career whilst providing their clients a fantastic and honest service.They are looking for an experienced Applications Packager who will be responsible for the quality of packaged/sequenced applications in line with customer requirements.Responsibilities Provide technical documentation on a range of technical issues as required Installation and configuration of Desktop Operating Systems Installation and configuration of customer specific business applications Management of hardware and source media required for application package creation Problem management and troubleshooting Work with clients to capture and document software application configuration requirements Work with clients to facilitate UAT testing, ensuring sign off and all outstanding issues are documented/reported Report verbally and via process documentation project progress / issues to line management Produce procedural documentation of application packaging processes for the benefit of knowledge sharing and improved efficiency Keep up-to-date with current and future technologies, products and strategies Management of application packaging library and workflow tracking system Requirements Knowledge of installation and configuration Working experience of SMS/SCCM Microsoft Windows OS – 2000, XP & Vista Can demonstrate quality application packaging using MSI technology Experience of active directory, file protection and registry hives Interpersonal and professional skills: Ability to work effectively as part of a teamTo apply for this Application Packagers role please contact Dave Smith vie e-mail or call 09 377 2045.
