Our client, a well-established Auckland Pharmaceutical manufacturer is looking to appoint an experienced Lab Analyst in its Chemistry Laboratory.As part of a team, the incumbent will be responsible for performing a broad spectrum of analytical testing using a range of high specification equipment including GC, HPLC, and ICPMS. They will have good knowledge of GLP and working to US European and Japanese Pharmacopoeias. The successful candidate will ideally possess the following attributes:

  • Tertiary qualification in a science field, preferably Chemistry or Biochemistry
  • Practical experience working in an analytical laboratory testing pharmaceuticals
  • Minimum of three years HPLC and GC experience
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Good report writing skills
  • Initiative and the ability to work unsupervised
