This exciting opportunity to be part of a successful and established business will require you to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
  • An understanding of both food and wage costs
  • Be happy to lead the team in the Head Chefs absence
  • Strong technical cooking skills in all sections of the kitchen
  • Staff supervision and training skills
  • A hands on approach to getting the job done
  • Ability to multi task and work well in a busy environment
  • Good personal hygiene
  • Honest and reliable
  • Able to work well as part of a team
  • Great communication skills
  • Well organised with good time management
  • Two years experience at Sous Chef level in a busy operation
The position is full time and weekend and night work will be required. Fluency in English is a pre requisite as you will be communicating with a large team in a busy environment.
