We will be recruiting experienced Project Managers to assist with rebuilding Christchurch. If you have experience coordinating small-to-medium construction works projects then we want to hear from you.

We are tendering for earthquake repair work and when we win more work we will need more Project Managers.

As Project Manager your main responsibility will be for the coordination and delivery of our contracts. This will involve project scoping and estimating, project management, quality inspection of completed words, supervision of sub-contractors, customer relationship management and ensuring compliance for quality, environmental, company policies and procedures.

Ideally you will have a relevant qualification, project management experience, technical industry understanding, and experience presenting and contributing in client meetings. Proficient computer skills, and excellent organisation and time management skills are a must.

We are looking for Registrations of Interest for a Project Manager to manage the completion of a 10 Year Property Plan. Ideally you would have completed similar projects of a similar nature and have a good understanding of the Weather-Tightness Requirements.

ESTIMATOR CIVIL ENGINEERING

This is a great opportunity for an Estimator to join the largest distributor of steel and allied products with a reputation for performance, innovation and quality in demanding and high risk jobs. You will be part of a strong team of experienced engineering professionals who are highly trained, committed and have a range of practical skills backed with experience that provide technical support and management skills to the company.

If you have formal qualifications such as Bachelor of Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering and several years of practical experience in the building and engineering industry, then I would like to hear from you.

You must also have:

A broad knowledge of contract conditions and specifications

Advanced plan reading skills in the area of reinforced concrete

Skill in estimating building, material and labour costs

Good skills in analysis

This position is based in Auckland and the purpose of this position is to identify all opportunities through contact with Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Suppliers, Owners and media releases. You will be responsible for estimating quantities of reinforcing steel, mesh and concrete accessories to provide the market with the subcontract quotation for the purpose of securing profitable work for the company.

Salary for this staff position will be dependent on experience.
