Prisoners Aid and Rehabilitation Trust (PART) is a not for profit organisation contracted to the Department of Corrections to provide reintegration services to prisoners and their family / whanau across New Zealand from Hawkes Bay and Turangi south.
A vacancy has arisen in our Upper Hutt office for apart timeadministrator who is confident in a client facing role. The hours for this role are 20 per week.
Duties include data entry, reception duties, general office duties and providing support to clients visiting the office.
The ideal candidate will be self motivated, have experience working within the social services sector and have an understanding of the barriers and challenges faced by prisoners and their family / whanau. Other key skills include:
  • Confident communication skills
  • Excellent written work
  • Polite and confident telephone manner
  • Team player
  • Well organised with a professional approach
  • Able to manage petty cash
