My client is a well established Kiwi owned and family operated firm who has been in business for 30 years and have a fabulous reputation in their market. Having only diversified into Life and Disability in the last few years, this is relatively new team giving a huge amount of scope for growth and career development. We are looking for a highly organised and self motivated Administrator to join this busy and supportive group of professionals.The key purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Life and Disability team and being the liaison between them, their clients and their Underwriters. You will be responsible for:

  • Following up with clients to ensure correct information and documentation is supplied
  • Dealing with Underwriters in order to update them on progress of new policies and meet their requirements
  • Managing processes around cancellations, updates and changes to clients’ insurance cover
  • Generating and updating reports on policy progress, lead generations and client information
  • General administration support including managing schedules and calulating commissions

The attributes we are looking for in our ideal candidate are as follows:

  • Experience with life, disability and health products is absolutly essential
  • Highly organised with a great deal of self motivation and strong multi tasking skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and manage your own time and workload
  • Sound relationship management and communication skills
  • Strength of character and maturity to deal with pressured situations
  • A down to earth and pragmatic nature with a good sense of humour
