Ozone Coffee Roasters is a well established specialty coffee roastery, committed to the pursuit of coffee excellent and constantly trialling new methods, processes and ways to improve the experience for all of our customers and staff.In this key role you will be responsible for the management of the finance and administration functions for Ozone Coffee Roasters. You will need a high degree of technical skills in financial and management accounting, with proven experience in financial packages (preferably Accredo!) Youll be keen to take on a varied role, with a mix of financial analysis, accounts and some administration.Youll have solid accounting and business knowledge and offer insights to the General Manager and senior management team.Key responsibilities include: Compiling month end results and ensuring all reports are correct and updated Development of pricing/margin model templates and analysis and interpretation of fixed and variable costs P&L processing and GL month end Analysis and interpretation of margin, sales and profitability, translating raw data into meaningful reports and helping make business decisions Development of annual budgets and forecasts for operations Creditor coding, loading for payment, and monthly approvals Daily reconciliation of bank statement and cashflow management Debtor invoicing, management and collection Month end stock reporting Improvement of business compliance within the team and ensure processes consistent with internal control requirementYoull also need: at least 2 years financial analyst experience excellent time management skills deadlines can be tight, particularly through monthly reporting cycle (but plenty of coffee is available!) advanced excel skills (youll be an excel guru!) fast data processing skills accounting / financial qualification (preferred) analytical thinking skills and the ability to think creatively GL experience and indepth understanding of P&L.
