Aperio Group (NZ) is the leading producer of flexible packaging in New Zealand. We operate plants in both Auckland and Christchurch. In Christchurch, the Flexipac Division of Aperio Group operated from 2 manufacturing facilities, located in Branston Street and Carmen Road, Hornby. Both plants are recognised as innovative and progressive and are market leaders providing printing, laminating and converting solutions to local and export markets.
Due to sustained growth in the business, there are a number of vacancies in our printing/laminating department for machine assistants. In this role you are required to work with a trade certified tradesman and would be responsible for the set-up and running of the printing/laminating machines to achieve both production and quality targets.
To be successful, you will need to have a drive for personal excellence, attention to details, take pride in your work, be mechanically minded and be a good problem solver. The positions are all shiftwork on a rotating basis covering morning, afternoon and night shifts.
