The purpose of this role is to initiate and manage the pursuit of all available recovery opportunities across multiple insurance lines – commercial, property, liability, engineering, marine and domestic.Key duties and responsibilities:
- Implement the negotiation and settlement of all outstanding debt.
- Arrange for legal action to be taken on unpaid accounts and liasing with solicitors.
- Work to build relationships with customers in order to influence while providing a consistent service.
- Build relationships with the claims team, loss adjusters, brokers, investigators, solicitors and clients.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives in terms of process and communication with customers.
Experience and skills required:
- Proven experience in Customer Services role within a corporate environment.
- Insurance or Financial Services Industry experience preferred.
- Tertiary Qualification in Business or Finance related discipline preferred.
- Debt recovery experience advantageous.
