The Salvation Army is a world-wide evangelical Christian church and human service provider who assists over 140,000 New Zealanders each year through a wide range of community services, which include food parcels, budgeting advice, supportive accommodation and counselling services.
Corporate partnerships are fundamental to the continuing efforts of The Salvation Army in our communities. The Corporate Relations Manager is responsible for fostering and maintaining relationships with key corporate partners, as well as seeking out and developing new partnership opportunities.
The Corporate Relations Manager will manage national business events and appeals and promote awareness of The Salvation Army, its services and programmes to corporate audiences.
Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, this role is an integral member of the wider Public Relations and Communications Team.

- A knowledge of current fundraising standards, initiatives and practice
- Very highly developed interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Outstanding written and oral communications
- Strategically focussed
- Professional, proactive, flexible and astute
- A can do attitude, self motivated and goal seeking
- Demonstrated skill in a range of IT applications
- Ability to identify with the mission and values of The Salvation Army
- Tertiary level qualification
- FINZ membership would be advantageous, as would proven experience with corporate fundraising.
