Manawatu is the location for the headquarters of NZDF‘s new training and education directorate (TED) Teams reporting into the HQ are situated in camps and bases throughout New Zealand.Encompassing your passion for performance, training and analysis this brand spanking new position has opened up in the Strategy Planning and Performance Team at our headquarters in the Hokowhitu Campus, Palmerston North.This role will work as part of the performance and evaluation team in the centre -the thinkers and development people, measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of training outputs across the Training & Education Directorate and acts as a conduit for the Senior Advisor Performance and Evaluation role offering a strong analysis focus.The Performance and Evaluation Analyst will work with the Performance and Evaluation team to assist with the development of the new evaluation approach and processes.This role is similar to the Senior Evaluator role; however this role may cover any non-routine evaluation work and project work.To be successful within this role you will have:
- Demonstrated evidence of well developed analytical skills and an advanced understanding of performance evaluation and audit activity in an educational/training environment
- Subject Matter expertise to deliver evaluation based on sound knowledge of training and education policy and practices
- A clear understanding oftraining delivery drivers and the current environment, and reflecting this in the feedback of evaluations
- A good working knowledge of the impact of regulation and compliance.
