Internal Recruitment ConsultantPart of UGL Australia, a company with more than 40,000 employees, UGL (NZ) Ltd is a successful and well established New Zealand business that provides a diverse range of essential services across a variety of industries including water, property, power, and resources.We are on the lookout for a results driven Internal Recruitment Consultant to join our well established Recruitment & HR team, on a fixed term contract basis until at least May 2012.As a diverse business that is spread across large parts of the globe, UGL is moving to a much more mobile workforce model, and like with so many other things, NZ is leading the way in demonstrating how the successful sourcing and deployment of appropriate personnel can and should work. As a result, we have found ourselves urgently requiring some additional consulting help to ensure we continue to deliver on some pretty massive hiring targets for Projects based on both sides of the Tasman.This role will largely be focussed on specialist Blue collar and technical trades based Recruitment and as such will be ideally suited to someone familiar with large construction/infrastructure project recruitment. As a large portion of our business falls with the broader power industry, experience with the core electrical trades would be hugely advantageous. With some additional, non-recruitment related responsibilities, this position will provide exposure to a wide range of candidate and employee scenarios/challenges and will offer the post holder excellent career progression into a more dedicated Internal Recruitment career path.The successful candidate will have a strong interest in high volume, yet specialist recruitment, ideally with a minimum of 18-24 months experience within a transactional recruiting/consulting role. You will need to be a highly driven, meticulously organised individual who is adept at multi-tasking and handling varied workloads.
