Known as New Zealands number one facilitator of support services, advocacy, training and knowledge to people with a common disability – this proactive and forward thinking organization is seeking an experienced service coordinator to join the team in their Christchurch team.
As part of a tight knit group of good people this organization requires your services to work alongside children and adults with disabilities, and their families, who have a range of needs, to facilitate comprehensive support needs assessments, reassessments and reviews, explore and negotiate the options available, review and coordinate access to natural, non funded and funded supports and services with them.
The ideal person would have:
- 2+ years work experience in health / allied health or disability
- Experience in assessment of disability or similar such as mental health
- Holistic view on services
- Outstanding relationship building skills with community and business
- Strong admin skills
- A doer with good problem solving and reporting skills
- Innovative, caring, good ethics and a sense of humour would help!
