Geotechnics is a specialist materials testing company, providing laboratory and field testing services to the environmental and civil engineering industries. Our Auckland office currently has an opening for a highly motivated person to join the team starting immediately.
The base hours of work are 15 hours per week worked across 3 days with an additional 1 day at the beginning of each month. The office will be closed from 22 December until 09 January so there will no requirement to work during this time.
We are seeking an organised person with a positive can do attitude to support our busy team. The role will involve assisting with general administration tasks, filing, photocopying, reception duties, customer queries, collection of month end receipts, kitchen cleaning, assisting with functions, and data entry. You will need to be motivated, a team player and competent with computers along with excellent communication skills.
To be successful in this role you will need loads of initiative, excellent attention to detail, a strong customer focus, good telephone manner and well-honed organisational skills. A driving licence is also required.
Good knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Word and advanced Excel would be an advantage.
