Healthcare Australia currently has a number of exciting opportunities for experienced Aged Care nurses on the Sunshine Coast and the surrounding region. Our clients are some of the Sunshine Coasts most prestigious Aged Care facilities. They offer a great working environment with opportunities for training and development.
As an experienced aged care Registered Nurse you will be responsible for general nursing duties including comprehensive client assessment, medications management, wound care, dementia care and palliative care.
Strong leadership skills are essential as you will be responsible for co-ordination of staff to create an environment of holistic care focused on quality client care.
To apply for this role you must have the following:
- At least 1-2 years experience in Residential Aged Care or the Community setting
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant Post graduate qualifications (desirable)
- Registration or (eligibility) with the Australian Nursing Council(AHPRA)
- Experience and knowledge of ACFI funding
- New Zealand or Australian passport
