Permanent, Full-Time Position in Early Childhood Education AnalysisAre you looking for a varied, challenging and rewarding position?Early Childhood Education is an important, diverse and interesting sector, and as a result, your work will be varied, challenging and ultimately personally rewarding.We are looking for an Analyst or Senior Analyst to join our ECE Analysis unit. You will be part of a team doing varied and interesting demographic, statistical and financial analysis on New Zealand’s Early Childhood Education sector. This is a chance for you to apply your analytical skills across a wide variety of issues from understanding drivers of participation to modelling the financial impact of policy initiatives.Your initial focus will be on funding issues. This will involve analysing trends and patterns in ECE funding, providing advice on underlying drivers and changes, and forecasting and modelling government expenditure on early childhood education.We are looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience in analysis and modelling
- Has some experience in financial forecasting and policy costing
- Can demonstrate strong analytical skills
- Can communicate their ideas effectively
- Has knowledge or experience of SAS or other programming language
- Enjoys working with policy teams
- Can show initiative and enjoys new challenges
- Can lead and work well with other team members.
