Department of Community Health Development

We are seeking an experienced academic to join our Department of Community Health Development in the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences on a 0.6 basis for one year.
Our department offers the Master of Public Health, and at undergraduate level, the Bachelor of Health Science in Health Promotion, and the Graduate Diploma in Addictions. We are committed to a social determinants approach to research, teaching and practice in community health development.
The preferred applicant will have a Postgraduate qualification, preferably a PhD relevant to the field of health care ethics. They will have strong research and teaching experience at undergraduate level and have clear potential to make a significant contribution to our academic programme development. In addition the preferred applicant will have an emerging research capacity and have strongly developed health sector networks.
We are interested in candidates from a public health background, who have expertise in health care ethics. Experience in environmental health and community development is desirable.
