CAPS Hauraki mission is to offer support to families/whanau to enhance their well being by providing social work, education, counselling and advocacy.
We are seeking to employ a Full Time Social Worker / Whanau worker to assist us in meeting an ever increasing demand for our services
This community-based role involves working with children and their families. You will predominantly be providing Social Work services but may also be required to support the delivery of abuse prevention and parenting education programs.
If you have:
  • Or significant experience working with children and their family / whanau
  • A commitment to abuse prevention through support and education
  • Group facilitation experience – desirable
  • And a good sense of humour!
