This internationally respected client has a delivery network that spans more than 220 countries and operates in more than 500 airports globally. They provide courier and express services to business and private customers.They currently seek experienced Customs Clearance Brokers to join their busy team.Reporting to the Customs you’ll be responsible for processing in-house import clearances. Having a stong passion for customer service you’ll also be responsible for maintaining and developing business relationships.To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- 2 or more years experience in a similar role
- a NZ customs pin
- knowledge of NZ customs tariff and import procedures
- EDI experience (preferred but not essential)
Due to the busy nature of the work you’ll also need to be flexible. 10 hour shifts from Thursday to Sunday with a 12pm start Thursday to Friday and 8.30am to 5pm from Monday to Sunday.This is a busy and challenging role.
