It is expected you will have the skills and attitude to take control of your own territory and implement a business plan to meet sales performance targets. Key to this will be your ability to build sustainable relationships with your customers and manage sales across a broad product portfolio. Whilst you are part of team with a passion for what they do you will need to be able to effectively manage the needs of your customers around technical information and business imperatives.
To be successful in this role you need to be able to demonstrate your skills and experience supported by results in the following areas:
  • Sales account management within professional sector ideally healthcare; could be pharmaceutical or OTC/pharmacy or veterinary
  • Planning and implementation of territory business and promotional activities
  • Commercial acumen to grow sales and profitability across customer base
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to build strong customer relationships both internally and externally
  • Understanding of technical information and providing effective education and training to support product usage
