My client is a Business Association which represents the needs of 1300 plus businesses within our geographical region on the North Shore.You will need to have a high level of business understanding and the ability to consult, with your specialty being in crime prevention strategies.You may have gained your experience while working with large businesses, retail stores small and large.Your solutions may have included (experience is required in more than one of the following)1. Technology2. Community involvement3. Training, and awareness coaching4. Psychological factors5. Strategy, store security, surveillance, product placement, inventory access etc. You would be a resource to our members.You will need to be familiar with CPTED and also demonstrate an understanding of why the collective voice and community is vital to the success of crime prevention.Crime is not okay would be the your mission as this guides you to:1.Consult with our members to understand their crime prevention needs and expectations2.Design tools that will form part of your toolkit for gauging needs and offering solutions3.Provide vital information in the form of reports to key stakeholders advising on needs and making recommendations4. Plan and implement the crime prevention training program including training two workshops a month, rolling it out with a view to growing the client base 5 times in size over an 18-month period.5.To assist members with keeping crime at lowest levels6. Network to grow the NHBA brand attend functions and events7.
