Trend Micro is seeking a driven Channel Manager to join our successfulNZ team. The main purpose and focus of this role will be to proactively recruit, develop and enable Trend Micro partners to sell our solutions, and to manage marketing and sales activities with the existing distribution channel.
Primary duties include:
Responsibility of assigned Trend Micro partners within specified territory.
Managing the Trend Micro distribution relationship in New Zealand.
Identifying and developing business opportunities and building and maintaining a constant/future partner revenue pipeline.
Implementing channel partner sales strategies, meeting sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction in a manner consistent with company policy and goals.
Handling negotiations and overcoming objections with customers and partners.
Delivering impactful presentations, effectively representing Trend Micros business and value proposition, and differentiation in the market.
Developing and managing a reliable forecast and ensuring the disciplined use of Trend Micro sales forecasting, account plans and customer relationship tools.
Preparing professional proposals having thoroughly understood the customer requirements and establish the relevant business solutions.
Co-ordinate marketing, sales and technical support to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience include:
Demonstrable expertise and knowledge of the channel and partner community in New Zealand and a history of managing and selling into those partner accounts.
Pattern of quantifiable success in channel partner management and selling strategies.
At least 5 years proven experience in channel partner management.
Knowledge of IT security products will be highly regarded.
Demonstrable verbal, written and presentation communication skills commensurate with the position.
