With new project and remedial works still accelerating toward their anticipated peak in 2012, this firm is in need of additional resources to grow their local capacity.
Dependent on the level of your experience, the role is likely to include:
- Participation in feasibility analysis, estimation
- Detailed pricing and scheduling of quantities
- Evaluation, selection and negotiation of sub-contract tenders
- Liaison with design consultants and construction contractors
- Contract administration, cost-management, variations, payment claims
Those who bring experience in commercial or residential construction in a quantity surveying or estimating capacity will be considered suitable for this role, with either Diploma level training or a reasonable level of focussed on job training being important preparation. NZ based experience is valued, although those bringing proven PQS experience in other international markets will be considered.This position will give you the opportunity to work alongside and learn from expert Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers, building your understanding and up-skilling your QS and Project Management capabilities to a level where you can take a leading role on major projects in the future.
