Epsom CampusVacancy Number: 13648The School of Te Puna Wananga is seeking to appoint a permanent Lecturer/Professional Teaching Fellow in teacher education at undergraduate level. Suitably qualified applicants may also have the opportunity to contribute to postgraduate programmes.Applicants are required to have a high level of proficiency in te reo Maori, and a professional teaching qualification, preferably in primary teaching. A Masters degree in Arts or Education, or equivalent, is desirable. Those applying at Lecturer must have a completed or near completed doctorate, a research record and a commitment to ongoing research.Applicants are required to have the ability to teach through the medium of te reo Maori from the marautanga across a range of the following areas: Nga Toi, Hauora, Hangarau, Pangarau or Putaiao, and to be qualified, through current teacher registration, to supervise students on practicum.
