The protection and enhancement of TVNZs reputation as New Zealands leading news media company through the provision of the highest editorial judgement, and the maximisation of the business units commercial performance underpin the focus of this role. The position too will be expected to build strong relationships externally and internally, including with senior politicians, public policy makers and industry leaders. Applicants should possess well-demonstrated success in executive and editorial team leadership, broad experience and achievement in commercial television and digital media journalism and be strongly committed to editorial independence and fairness.
