Applications are invited for a continuing academic position in the area of control engineering and mechatronics. The Department specialises in control, communications, image processing, mechatronics, computer engineering, nanotechnology, and electric power engineering. The Department has 22 academic staff, approximately 300 undergraduate students and 80 postgraduate students, undertakes world class research, and has excellent facilities.An appointment will be in the range from Lecturer to Senior Lecturer (the equivalent range in the United States is approximately Assistant Professor to Associate Professor), depending on the qualifications and experience of the appointee. You should have a PhD degree or equivalent, and have a proven research and/or industrial achievement record to be eligible for consideration.
