Tauranga City Aquatics Limited are seeking a vibrant and experienced swimming instructor to join the team!!
As an instructor you will be required to take part in Learn to Swim programmes and services at both Baywave TECT Aquatic & Leisure Centre and Greerton Aquatic & Leisure Centre.
We are looking for a team player with a “can do” attitude who is reliable, committed and passionate about teaching the future of New Zealand the swimming skills that are so essential.
To be successful you must:
- Have experience teaching others toswim
- Be excellent with building a rapport with children both in and out of the water
- Hold an A.S.T.A qualification or equivalent
- Hold a comprehensive first aid certificate (desirable but not essential)
- Be passionate about the swimming industry and a committed team player
- Be available to work a range of shifts, including evenings and some weekends.
This part-time position will be between 10-20 in-pool hours per week, with additional shifts available during the Schools and Pools programme.
