An exciting new opportunity! LIC Diagnostics has created a new role in our Animal Health business due to rapid growth and expanding opportunities. Our modern Animal Health facility provides Serology and Molecular Diagnostic services to the rural sector and is in need of an Operations and Product Veterinarian. This presents a fantastic opportunity for the successful applicant to adapt the position to make the best use of his or her skills.As the Operations and Product Veterinarian you will be responsible for providing veterinary leadership and coordination of the Animal Health Laboratorys commercial operations in providing animal health products and services to farmers and veterinary practitioners. In collaboration with the Product Manager you will be providing technical product management for existing tests and services in addition to the commercialisation of new products. You will need to be customer focused and champion the specific needs of our customers while provide ongoing technical support.To be successful in this role you will need a background in dairy practice with a thorough understanding of NZ farming practices, with emphasis on herd health and disease control.
