The Change and Release Manager is responsible for the implementation of hardware, software and information releases into the live production environment in accordance with change management policy and procedure. The position will also be responsible for the release schedule for the organisation; negotiating any changes to the release schedule with the relevant parties and ensuring that the schedule is effectively managed and communicated across the organisation.The core purpose of this role includes: Developing and implementing processes for IT systems change, release and configuration Managing and coordinating the Change and Release process Managing issues and risks associated with Change and Release management Planning and overseeing the successful rollout of software and related hardware changes including training of staff on processes Set and manage effectively the expectation of key stakeholders in respect of negotiating, agreeing and implementing change.To be successful in this role you will have at least 4 years specialising in IT change and release management. You will have solid exposure to ITIL, be ITIL certified and understand the development and project life cycles. You will be able to influence peers and stakeholders. Candidates must be good communicators and fit in well to a highly motivated, talented team. All in all, this is an outstanding role where you can stamp your mark inside an exciting IT organization.
