My client is currently looking for an experienced Java developer to join them on a contract basis starting immediately. You will have great communication skills coupled with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering business solutions.
Specifically, the successful candidate will have 7+ years of Java development skills, and experience creating web applications including front end implementations. You will preferably have worked in an agile environment; Insurance industry experience is also preferred but not essential. You will need knowledge of the following:
- APIs and associated tools:
- Eclipse, Spring / Spring MVC
- Hibernate,
- Relational Database Design / SQL
- Maven 2,
- Unit Testing and continuous integration
- Tomcat 6, JQuery / CSS / XHTML / AJAX, SVN / CVS
