Shared Services Regional Manager Job at Ministry of Education, Waikato, Hamilton
We are seeking an effective and experienced manager to lead and manage the Ministry‘s regional shared services in the Central North Region.This newly established role will establish and develop shared services to improve efficiency and quality, develop excellent relationships with customers and seek to leverage opportunities to expand the shared services function. The role has leadership and operational accountability for managing the performance and delivery of administrative and corporate support services to the Ministry’s regional staff.As Shared Services Regional Manager, you will bring operational experience to improve team performance and to strengthen our delivery of quality, timely and efficient support services. You will operate with confidence across operational issues and manage effectively within the context of Government policy direction and operating procedures. Strong relationship management skills will enable you to build business partnerships to get better alignment and implementation.Your background will include:
- Strong leadership experience in business processes and systems and the effective delivery of services.
- Demonstrated understanding of management in the context of Government decision-making, operating procedures and service delivery.
- Experience in the effective implementation of business processes and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong and effective relationships and business partnerships.
The Central North Region covers Hawkes Bay, Bay of Plenty and the Coromandel.
