Permanent, Full-time positionVacancy 5584The Recreation and Sports Unit is looking for an exceptional individual to join the Pioneer Team and coordinate the Southern Centre Multi Sensory facility for the Christchurch City Council.The Southern Centre is an inclusive environment that allows people of all abilities the opportunity to explore, have fun and participate in an array of sensory experiences. The Centre has been designed primarily to provide a recreational opportunity for disabled people.This position involves coordinating the operation, direction and development of the Southern Centre. This will include delivering key objectives, providing leadership to the Southern Centre team and working alongside the Southern Centre Charitable Trust.Candidates will require proven experience working in the disability / inclusive services or recreation industry.
