An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of our Australasian Risk and Compliance team based in our central Wellington office.

The role is primarily responsible in developing and implementing the risk and compliance monitoring regime and managing the day-to-day compliance/risk/audit activities of the business with the objective of ensuring that risk and compliance arrangements are run in an efficient, effective and consistent manner.
The role will allow you to utilise your risk management and compliance capabilities and will involve day to day interaction with employees and clients.
You will be the New Zealand Compliance Officer for FNZ Ltd and to liaise with our clients and their risk and compliance counterparts on a day to day basis. You will be the main client contact ensuring compliance with service level agreements and their stated restrictions.
You will be the key contact in developing and maintaining the risk assessment of the businessbyundertaking and documenting detailed risk based monitoring and spot checks in line with the annual monitoring/audit program,regulatory development and topical issues with the objective of defining and improving internal controls andrisk and compliance procedures to help safeguard the business and its clients assets.
Youwill come from a financial services Compliance background preferably with fund management and custodial operations.
