We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated and professional Business Manager to provide strong management and leadership to our well established dental practice with sites in Chartwell and Rototuna.
This role will be responsible for:
- The overall operational performance of the practices ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
- Actively promoting and contributing to a positive culture where first class patient care, customer service and staff development are the priorities
- Providing strong leadership and direction to support staff and Dentists
- Ensuring at all times that the practices operates within a set budget – maximising revenue and managing costs effectively
- Identifying and executing additional services, marketing and revenue opportunities
- Recruitment and training of new employees
- Identifying training needs and facilitating in-house training for administration and support staff
- Development of strategic relationships with key external individuals and groups within the industry to facilitate promotion, growth and development of the practices
- Weekly reporting of practice financial and patient volume statistics
- Liaising with the Corporate Centre as required for additional support regarding the overall performance and operation of the practices
The successful candidate will bring to the practice the following attributes and skills:
- Proven ability to develop, manage and implement new business solutions
- Experience successfully managing a team
- At least three years business experience with focus on developing relationships, customer service, business development, marketing and communications environment
- Excellent sales and business development skills
- An ability to deliver outcomes in agreed time frames
- An ability to work across two locations (must have access to a motor vehicle)
