One of the key responsibilities will be to explore how property infrastructure and the physical environment can better support the delivery of the outcomes identified in the property strategy, and to support the implementation, monitoring, review and drafting of asset management and strategic plans for Auckland Council property.You will be part of a cross-organisational team and provide property input into cross-organisational projects and planning.
The role operates at a strategic and tactical level, reviewing both New Zealand and overseas research to establish best practice. Experience in strategy and policy development, communications and property planning, as well as knowledge and understanding of strategic frameworks and processes in a public or private context is required.
The ideal person for this role will be an excellent researcher and communicator with strong project management and writing skills, and possess a high degree of innovation with the ability to think laterally and practically when exploring opportunities.
A tertiary qualification in property, communications, architecture, land economy, planning or a related discipline is required.
