Mount Eden Corrections Facility (M.E.C.F.) based in central Auckland is the most recent addition to the Serco portfolio in Asia Pacific. M.E.C.F. is a state of the art facility providing a safe and secure environment for over 900 prisoners on behalf of NZ Department of Corrections.
You do not need previous custodial experience however you will need a mature outlook on life, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage challenging situations confidently and objectively.

Successful candidates will receive full training and will be:
  • Reliable and available to work 12 hour rotating rosters over 7 days a week
  • Mature in your attitude to work
  • Hold excellent communication skills
  • Fit to carry out the duties required of a custodial officer
  • Computer literate
A clear criminal history is mandatory.
