Bowls NZ is looking for a dynamic and professional self-starter, to promote and develop bowls through the club network in this field-based role, and be the key linkage with all parties involved in bowls communities throughout the Lower South Island. Incorporating the following bowling centres: Bowls Southland, Bowls South Otago, Bowls Dunedin, Central Otago Bowls, Bowls North Otago, and Bowls South Canterbury.This full-time position involves the implementation and promotion of Bowls New Zealand programmes, Regional programmes and working closely with Partner Clubs in promoting the strategic direction for the sport, encouraging partner clubs and centres to plan for future success, and offering playing experiences relevant to the lifestyles of new markets and participants.We are seeking an individual who can demonstrate the following values of Bowls New Zealand: Personal Leadership, Continuous Improvement, Service, Integrity, Enjoyment, In our relationships we trust, support and challenge each other.You will champion the adoption of best practice in all aspects of club operation using the Bowls NZ Club Plan programme and One Bowls One Vision strategy.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sport development and knowledge of club sport.
