My clients Application Team utilizes a centralized development DBA team to support its ongoing development initiatives and provide day-to-day enterprise systems support.
Thisposition will specialise in offering DBA support to application development teams. This individual will meet regularly with development teams to understand their day to day and strategic long-term needs. This will be hands on position with opportunities to experiment and learn new technologies.
Requirements:
- Minimum4 years experience as an Oracle Database Administrator supporting enterprise critical databases
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good PL/SQL programming skills
- Good understanding of Oracle Internals
- Good understanding Oracle 11g
- Good Client focus while dealing with application development teams
- Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to a dynamic environment
