Due to continued growth in the business, this is an additional position at Argenta within the recently formed Project Management Office. It is an exciting time to be joining the team as the business continues to gain momentum with the number of projects on the go doubling in recent times.You will be responsible for leading and managing a portfolio of projects such as commercialisation of products which have been developed by R&D and overall business improvement initiatives. A focus on quality and detail is imperative as we are regulated by animal pharmaceutical standards, and therefore a background in a production environment (GMP/FDA) would be advantageous.You will be dealing with multi-national pharmaceutical providers all over the world, so building and maintaining relationships via the phone is absolutely key. This is a great role for someone looking to solidify their project management skills and develop a career within a stable company with long term potential.Your key responsibilities would include: Working with the Project Sponsor/Client to develop timelines and resource requirement estimates into a project plan Monitoring progress and ensuring project milestones are achieved on time Maintaining and driving key customer relationships Ensuring projects are initiated, executed and completed using consistent project management methodologyYou must have: A relevant tertiary qualification in science or related discipline eg. Engineering, Science, Chemistry, Production Previous Project Management experience (informal or formal) Experience with common project management software such as MS Project desirable Excellent relationship management and communication skills [written and verbal]Argenta is a New Zealand owned company that undertakes contract R&D and manufacturing for global and local organisations specialising in animal health products.
