Based in Wellington, we are seeking a highly motivated editor with excellent communication, and English language and literacy skills to join our publishing team.
As a member of a small dedicated editorial team, you will be responsible for editing and publishing key legal content within specified time frames, ensuring accuracy and currency, and managing contributor relationships. Your publications will include products related to case law and legislation (both online and print). You’ll also bedeveloping and improving your publications, reflecting changesboth in the law andin customer requirements.
Meeting publishing deadlines and ensuring currency is vital so you must be flexible and capable of working under pressure.
Strong computer skills are also a must. Publishing or editing experience along withlegal or legal system knowledge would give you an advantage. Extremely high standards and a strong work ethic are prerequisites for this position.
