DESCRIPTION OF ADVERTOur client is looking for a Business Analyst with extremely strong analytical skills reporting into the Business Intelligence (BI) Team. You will be a business liaison between the clients business departments and BI and also between the other application development teams and BI. As an analyst you will forge strong working relationships between client business Clients and technology groups in support of various applications.Your duties will include to lead business process discussions, requirements, and functional design gathering (documentation, and management).You will be responsible for identifying disparity and overlapping current and future state workflows and evaluating solutions that most effectively meet clients business needs. Candidates must be flexible enough to grasp new business paradigms very quickly, and should be prepared to think *out of the box* when necessary.SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Become a subject matter expert on business processes and workflows, and existing reports-Facilitate meetings with Clients to determine and prioritize their business requirements and the impact of these requirements on existing applications and workflows-Develop test plans and facilitate system testing-Coordinate user acceptance testing-Required to plan, schedule and manage all tasks related to business analysis and participate in change control management, and risk mitigation activities-As a subject matter expert participates in issue resolution, assist with the identification and communication of high-level technical constraints for the solution- An understanding of Star Schema design and multi dimensional modelling (preferred)- Experience with BI reporting tools (preferred)- Project & Consulting experience as this is a client facing role-Knowledge with Oracle OBIEE, Oracle warehouse builder, PL/SQL
