Land this awesome Regional Sales Manager role and youll be this well-established Australian cosmetics companys only New Zealand based employee. Leveraging your pharmacy industry knowledge (and contacts) youll introduce this proven-quality product to the market, quickly establish key accounts and growing sales throughout New Zealand. As you develop and manage all New Zealand key accounts and monitor the sales budget youll provide ongoing regular reporting to the Melbourne based Export Manager, and stay well informed by liaising with your Australian colleagues and travelling to Australia every six months.

You’ll be responsible for

  • Monitoring NZ sales budget on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis
  • Achievement of sales budgets in all channels
  • Management of Pharmacy key accounts
  • Negotiate and implement key account promotional programmes, planogrammes, new line entries and exiting deleted lines
  • Effectively secure new business accounts in line with company objectives and budgets
  • Daily and weekly contact with Manager to provide constructive feedback as to state performance
  • Achieve all designated KPIs as communicated
  • Maintain effective customer service levels in line with company expectations
  • To maximise call proficiency by limiting travel distance between calls
  • Organise and maximise launch campaigns
  • Achieve maximum distribution in pharmacy
  • Ensure maximum territory coverage
  • Build and develop relationships with key pharmacy banner groups

To be successful in this role you will have

  • Pharmacy specific sales experience
  • Proven new business developement experience
  • Flexibility to travel around New Zealand as well as the occasional trip to Australia
  • Good industry understanding and a knack for negotiating the best deal for the company and closing the sale
  • Excellent people skills
  • An eye for detail
  • New ideas necessary to grow sales
  • A talent for managing the logistics associated with sales
  • Drive, self-discipline, passion and enthusiasm
