The hotel‘s food and beverage outlets include Acacia Restaurant and Garden Bar and six conference rooms.
Novotel & Ibis Auckland Ellerslie is currently seeking a motivated and determined Food and Beverage Supervisor to make their mark on the Food and Beverage Outlets.
Reporting to the Restaurant & Bar Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of your shift in either the buffet breakfast and a la carte lunch or the dinner a la carte & buffet service or conference operations. You will welcome all guests into the restaurant and ensure your team are delivering not just the expected minimum service standards to all our customers, but also providing that exceptional Novotel service which will surprise and delight.
You will be a confident and enthusiastic person that has a minimum of six months previous supervisory skills in a Food & Beverage setting backed up with various dining service styles to give you a well rounded knowledge of Food & Beverage. You will posses excellent customer service skills as well as having the knowledge to deal with difficult situations by thinking quickly on your feet to reach a successful end result.
This role will enable you to develop further in your food & beverage career, while working in one of the best restaurants in Auckland!
Essential requirements for this role include:
- Previous experience within food & beverage
- Minimum of six months previous supervisory experience
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent understanding of Micros
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Great attention to detail
- Flexibility with your availability particularly evenings& weekends
The successful candidate will be meticulously well presented, confident and highly organised. You should be self motivated and self disciplined and have a natural ability to work within a team environment. Previous experience in a similar role is preferable
