We are seeking someone who enjoys working with people and has a keen interest in protecting and enhancing the natural environment. This role, based in Hamilton for work in the Lower Waikato Zone, focuses on engaging with land owners, iwi and other stakeholders on projects relating to erosion control and protection and enhancement of streams, shallow lakes and wetlands.The person we are seeking will have excellent communication, interpersonal and project management skills. Practical experience in carrying out biodiversity enhancement/restoration projects is essential. The successful applicant will possess a relevant tertiary qualification and a minimum of 5 years experience, and have a practical understanding of sustainable land management practices.Applications close: Friday, 7 October 2011
