In this role you will provide business and performance analysis and advice to the Community Development Arts and Culture department.
This role will monitor departmental performance and perform quality control evaluations. You will lead and be involved in special projects to improve and co-ordinate business performance and planning across the department. This role will also include reviewing current processes, recommending improvements and reducing operational risks.
The role reports to the Manager Business Support and covers the full breadth of the departments geographical area and programme of activities.
You will be required to demonstrate drive and motivation in the continual improvement of business performance processes and systems. End-to-end proven project management experience is essential as the role will be co-ordinating key projects with an emphasis on business efficiency and performance.Your attention to detail and ability to think long term and ‘big picture’ is vital. This position adds value by providing exceptional advice and guidance to the senior management team and staff therefore you should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to positively influence senior management and a diverse range of staff across the business to encourage engagement.
A minimum of five years experience is required, and the ability to demonstrate a disciplined approach to managing business performance in a political or highly complex organisation.A proven record of successfully delivered projects and of managing a portfolio of changes in a complex organisation is essential as is the ability to establish and utilise effective systems and processes to monitor planning and performance.
