We are looking for a switched on organised production supervisor to manage our overseas factories in Asia & our local factories here in Auckland. You must have an excellent eye for detail and be an expert planner.
You must be able to fit & measure garment correctly, understand the fashion cycle and timings in the NZ market. You must be able to use excel to track production, be a very confident communicator and have a very good appreciation for Asian culture and communication styles with excellent English both written and spoken. You must understand and be able to write garment specifications and select sub fabrics.
You should understand garment construction, understand fabric types and the manufacturing process for garments.
The successful candidate will have already worked in the fashion industry in a similar position for at least 5 years.
This is an exciting position with a dynamic family business. You will be a much appreciated part of a small team producing high quality work for the discerning NZ boutique market.
The current supervisor will be very missed and is leaving to follow her heart to Australia.
The position is immediate start.
Pay & bonus/perks depending on experience.
