If so, then we want you to come and join us!!Group Maori is looking for motivated team players to join our agile strategic policy team. In these roles you will help lead the design and development of policy focused on improving outcomes with and for Maori learners, whanau and through working innovatively in partnership with iwi. We currently have vacancies for Policy professionals, ranging from Policy Analyst to Chief Policy Analyst, and are looking for applicants with:

  • Appropriate and relevant experience
  • Strong analytical and policy development skills
  • Knowledge of Maori education issues, current policy and developments
  • The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across all levels, with a particular focus on strengthening whanau and iwi contributions to education
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Te Reo Maori and English
  • A thorough understanding of the machinery of Government
  • An ability to engage actively with research and evidence for policy purposes.
