Senior Occupational Therapist required for community based role in large farming town located just 2 hours from the coast. Working as part of a large primary health team you will provide supervision and guidance to two junior level Occupational Therapists. As part of this multi disciplinary team you will manage resources and funding, provide training and support to junior staff members and assess and treat a varied caseload including adults and paediatrics, rehabilitation and aged care.
You will be instrumental in providing mentoring and leadership, you will also coordinate the development, planning, implementation and evaluation of occupational therapy services and health promotion programs in the local communities
You will have: A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Occupational Therapists’ Registration Board of Western Australia An advanced ability to develop, plan, implement and evaluate therapy programs across a varied caseload Demonstrated effective leadership and supervisory skills and experience
