Bring your extensive business management experience (preferably within a large and complex organisation) to this new role as you help to set up systems and processes to support the functions of the Local Board Services department. The department has teams based across the Auckland region, but you will be based with the central team, responsible for managing department wide business, reporting, administration and democratic process support functions. You will be working with Local Board Members on their support needs as well as their professional development programme.

Your role will be to provide senior strategic support to the manager and leadership team. You will effectively manage a large department-wide work programme ensuring work is prioritised and outcomes achieved on time. Strong communication and relationship management skills are essential. You are a person who is highly organised and able to manage competing priorities. Knowledge of democratic process would be an advantage.
