Our Compliance Team is critical in meeting this objective and we are now looking for a Compliance Manager to join this dynamic team. This is an established senior role that reports to the Head of Operational Risk and Compliance within our broader Risk Management team.Key accountabilities include:
- Managing the Bank‘s compliance obligations under the Financial Advisers Act
- Providing advice to Risk Partners and Business Units on matters relating to the FAA regime; and
- Responsibility for compliance monitoring, assurance and evaluation as well as assisting with reporting internally and externally.
You will need to be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of the FAA regime and act as a subject matter expert. You would ideally be ACI accredited or have an LLB and have several years experience operating in risk and compliance within a large organisation, preferably in the financial services sector. This is a pan-bank role and you will need to have exceptional communication skills to allow you to facilitate, influence and gain consensus at senior levels within the Bank.
